Northwest Crane team members Tony Johnson, Travis Vowell, Neil Witte and Chris Flores, along with Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul team member Ron Mitchell, transported and set two natural gas compressor units weighing 160,000 lbs each. Northwest Crane utilized two of their cranes simultaneously to unload and set each compressor. Northwest utilized the Liebherr LTM1220 and the LTM1100 configured to handle the weight at a 35ft radius. Ron Mitchell, Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul driver, transported the over-sized, overweight compressors. Ron’s heavy haul rig was equipped with a 100 ton capacity, 14-axel Lowboy transporter.
