Northwest team members Joseph Parsons, Chris Landes, Andy Zirtzman, and Ross Pittman rigged up Northwest's Liebherr LTM 1400 7.1 and the Liebherr LTM 1100 to lower rotors and swap gearboxes on S64 Wind Turbines near Guymon, OK. The LTM 1400 7.1 was rigged up with 240,000lbs of counterweight, y-guides, 92ft of Luffing Jib, at a radius of 70ft, and a 243ft tower height. The crane in this configuration lowered the 52,000lb Rotor, replaced the 53,000lb gear box, and raised the rotor back in place.
