Due to the mountainous terrain the roads were constructed to a width of 22ft. The narrow 15ft 9in travel track width of the LR1400-2/W was ideal for the narrow roads on the Lempster, NH site. In addition to the narrow width the outrigger design of the LR1400-2/W dose not require the installation of crane matting to erect the wind turbines.
