Northwest Crane Service and Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul collaborated to transload, transport, and set a 70,000lb Cellular Structure over space limited mountainous terrain. Northwest Crane Service rigged up a Liebherr LTM1100 4.1 at the base of location to transload the structure from the over the road haul truck to Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul's heavy duty tandem rig up truck. Two rig up tandem trucks were utilized to haul the 70,000lb structure and the Liebherr LTM1100 4.1's rigging, counterweight, and outrigger pads to the top of the space restriced location. Once on the mountain top location Northwest Team Members Johnny Mefferd, Ricky Hutchinson Calvin Duffey, Bill Thompson, and Rob Henry maneuvered the crane and trucks into position, rigged up, and set the structure. The lift plan was engineered for the crew to position the equipment to avoid over head power lines and preexisting on site Cellular equipment on the cramped location. The heightened maneuverability of Northwest's Liebherr LTM1100 4.1 and the high capacity of Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul's tandem trucks allowed Northwest to deliver a safe and efficient project package to the customer.
