New Liebherr LR1600 Crawler Crane Arrives

Northwest Crane Service L.L.C. introduces the addition of a second 660 ton capacity Liebherr LR 1600/2 crawler crane to its growing fleet.   Northwest Crane was the first company in North America to offer the Liebherr LR 1600/2 in March of 2008 after taking delivery of the first machine built by Liebherr in Ehingen, Germany

AWEA 2010 Windpower Show 

Northwest Crane Service will exhibit at the 2010 American Wind Energy Association's Windpower Show and Exhibition in Dallas Texas. Northwest will be represented at booth number 5113 from May 23rd through May 26th, the shows duration. Northwest Crane Service works extensively in the Wind Power Generation Industry and specializes in providing crane services for Wind Farm maintenance and construction. Northwest Crane Service's fleet of highly mobile Liebherr Hydraulic Cranes and highly experienced team members allows for fast mobe times between turbines contributing to less turbine down time. We offer lifting services for gearboxes, generators, main shafts, single blades, rotors, blade inspections, and fixed personnel baskets up to 315ft. Northwest also offers wind turbine main erection cranes for wind turbine erection of all sizes. Northwest Crane Service has been involved in the Wind Power Generation since the first wind farm was erected in Oklahoma, and now currently works nationwide in the Wind Power Generation Industry.

Northwest Opens an Operations Yard in Tulsa, OK

Northwest Crane Service has expanded its operation to better serve the Tulsa, OK area. Northwest Crane's Tulsa Yard is located on the southern side of the Tulsa and will serve the eastern section of Oklahoma. The Tulsa yard will offer crane rental and rigging services, heavy haul and legal load trucking, component storage capabilities, and laydown space for component staging. Northwest Crane Service Holds American Flag for Former President Bush

Former President Bush dedicated the new Crystal Beach Water Park in Woodward, Ok on the 4th of July 2009. Northwest Crane Service donated a Liebherr LTM 1100 4.1 to suspend a 20ft by 38ft American Flag for the Holiday and the dedication speech. The flag flew at a height of 220ft in the air over the Woodward, Ok Fair Grounds and could be seen from miles away. Northwest engineered a specialized flag pole designed to be hoisted and suspended, that was utilized to hang the flag safely while the former President gave his address. Northwest team members Andy Zirtzman, Andy Hodges, Jake Moomey, and Braden Hodges rigged the crane up and down for the celebration. See More

Northwest Crane Service recieves Delivery of LR1600/2 at Con Expo. 

Northwest Crane Service L.L.C. took delivery of the newly designed LR1600/2 at the Con Expo equipment show in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 11, 2008. Northwest Crane team members (pictured from left) Curt Shepherd, Andy Hodges, Joseph Parsons, Andy Zirtzman, Chris Reed, Josh Fast, Jimmy McClung, and Kevin Harris were at the show in Las Vegas to see the crane on display at the Liebherr equipment booth.

 

Northwest Crane Service Make the Cover of American Cranes&Transport March 2008 Issue

A two crane pick in Ft Supply,OK, Northwest Crane's Liebherr LTM1220 and LTM 1200 rigged with two Twin Path synthetic slings into 50-ton shackles lifting a 273,000 pound transformer. Each crane was rigged with full counterweight.

First Pictures of Northwest Crane's Newly Designed Liebherr LR 1600

On display at the Con Expo Equipment Show the Liebherr LR 1600 will be the newest addition to Northwest Crane Service's fleet. This crane is the first of its design in the world and Northwest Crane Service will take delivery after the show. The Liebherr Lr 1600 will be on display March 11-15, 2008 in the Gold Lot, Booth G 370.

On September 1, 2007 Northwest Crane Service LLC. was placed in the top 2 percent of the top 5000 fastest growing privately owned companies in the nation. This prestigious achievement has been recognized by the American Registry and is featured on www.inc.com

Northwest Crane Service makes the cover of the November 2007 issue of Crane Hotline.

 In September, Northwest Crane Service used a Liebherr LTM 1200 and LTM 1220 to scope out a telescopic derrick on an oil and gas drilling rig in Oklahoma City. The cranes has a combined lifting capacity of 95,200 pounds and boom lengths of 197 feet. For this lift, Northwest Crane Service used an equalization lifting beam to maintain equal weight distribution between the cranes. The weight of the lift was 80,000 pounds

Northwest Crane Service LLC. to Receive First LR 1600/2 and LR 1400/2-w Crawlers for U.S.

Northwest Crane Service LLC. is set to receive the first 660 ton LR 1600/2 crawler crane and the first two narrow track Liebherr LR 1400/2-W crawler cranes for North America. The Oklahoma based company plans to further expand into the Wind Power Industry with these wind turbine erection crawler cranes. All three machines are currently availavle for contract nation wide. Delivery of the recently unveiled LR 1600/2 is set to be after its introduction at Con Expo in March 2008. The first LR 1400/2-W is to be delivered in June of 2008, with the second LR 1400/2-W following in September  2008.
